Riverwalk Post Acute

I want to thank all the staff at Riverwalk Post Acute for the great care they gave my father. First dealing with Mario Pena, who was friendly, caring and always available to help. Since I live in Colorado it was calming to know I could trust the staff in taking care of all my father’s needs. Anthony the case manager went above the call a duty with help coordinate the care of my parent and helping with all paperwork needed in the transfer of my dad. Everyone there is a Rockstar! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Once you're here they won't tell you when you can leave. Makes it difficult to arrange after care, domestic help, grocery shopping, appointments of all sorts. When asked about release date I've been lied to repeatedly: "I'm working on it," " you've no medical care if you go home" " we can't prescribe any of the addictive narcotics once you leave" or "nobody knows when you'll be home to let you in" The food is atrocious. Slimy fake eggs, dry white bread for breakfast daily. Special diets take ten days to set up. No snacks at nite. Not allowed out of your bed without a nurse assistants permission, but they often can't be found. Once I waited 6 hours for a response to my emergency call button. The facility itself is across the narrow street from a prison. If you require some sort of therapy you won't get it here. I received 14 minutes PT in the first 10 days I've been here. Avoid anything Providence. Notice the photos don't show a single room? I've shared a room with two incontinent, brain injured patients whose televisions are on so loud I can't hear mine. Oh, and they under treat pain if treated at all. Get home health care if possible

Riverwalk took great care of my uncle who was recovering from surgery. It was not an easy operation for him and the staff was so great at comforting him and supporting him as he adjusted to his new life. Staff made sure he was always getting his medications on time and keeping his room clean and comfortable during his stay. I could tell the CNA’s actually cared about him recovering and getting better, which made it easy to leave him in their hands. Bless the physical therapists who spent so much time with him, encouraging him to get better every day!

My dad recently had a stay at the Riverwalk Post Acute and I couldn't be more pleased with the level of care and attention he received. The facilities were clean, comfortable and well-maintained. He received top-notch medical attention and the staff was incredibly patient and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and on the road to recovery. Overall, I highly recommend their facility for its excellent care and service.

Exceeded all my expectations in terms of care and service. I always felt like the staff was professional, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure my grandma was happy and comfortable. The facilities are well-maintained and provide a warm, welcoming environment. I know they had some recent changes in their management team and appreciated the transparent communication through this process. I highly recommend this nursing home to anyone in need of quality care for their loved ones.

I would like to thank Ben ( the administrator) for my wonderful stay here in Riverwalk. His staff are wonderful caring people. Ms Veronica was my main nurse and she goes above and beyond with all the patience. I came with a fractured spine. I’m not a 100. % yet but they put me on a path to recover. It’s a wonderful environment to bring your elderly loved one and a great theraputicley place for healing. I would like to Thank this place for all I gained. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone.

My wife recently had a fantastic experience here. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to her needs. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and my wife felt comfortable and safe throughout her stay. The care she received was top-notch, and the management team was knowledgeable and compassionate. I would highly recommend.
